Scottsdale, AZ 85255 In re: Testimonial for Jean-Pierre Brietta To All: I live in Maryland and owned a vacant lot in Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona for a period of eight years. It was an investment. The property was appreciating well and I had no real desire to sell it. Needless to say it was quite surprising when I received a phone call from Jean-Pierre stating that someone was apparently pretending to be me and sell my property right from under my nose. The person was a scam artist. Jean-Pierre did not have to investigate further, but he did. Jean-Pierre found me through the internet and contacted me to let me know that someone was trying to defraud me of over a half a million dollars. After exposing this individual, he went to another real estate agent who was ready to put “for sale” signs on my property. Fortunately, I was contacted by Desert Mountain and I was able to stop this thief from again trying to steal my land. It was at that point that I listed my property with Jean-Pierre (the person who was honest and hard working enough to find me and let me know about this attempted theft). The thief was stopped cold as my property was now listed on the MLS. Jean-Pierre was able to sell my property within four days for full value of $585,000.00. That was how much this identity fraud thief was trying to steal from me. Thanks to Jean-Pierre’s diligence, and just doing the right thing, he saved my family from a huge financial loss and all of the headaches that would have come along with it. The sale aspect was as easy as could be and Jean-Pierre handled everything. I could not recommend him higher for anyone who is interested in selling their land. Carrie was very efficient and timely in all her dealings with us. Carrie suggested a price for our home that we thought was a little high based on our experience with another realtor as part of the interview process. We listed the home at her suggested price and depended on her to get the word out. We were quite surprised that our opening showing of the house generated a number of visitors and three bids slightly over our asking price. She followed up with the three bids and we accepted the bid that was $35K over our asking price.
